Homemade Goodness

Recipe for Homemade Bread

From the Kitchen of: Brittney Guffey

5 & 1/4th cups of Four
1/4th cup Sugar
1 Tablespoon & 1 1/2 teaspoons Rounded Yeast
2 teaspoons Salt

Mix Together

Add 1 Tablespoon & 1 1/2 teaspoons Lechithin
2 cups Hot Water (But not Scalding)

Mix in a Kitchen Aid for 10 Minutes (or a Bosch)

Grease the Pans

Put into two loaf pans and let rise for 45 minutes (Cover with a towel)

Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes

For half wheat bread substitute (this is the one that I made for this post)

2 1/2 cups wheat flour
2 1/2 cups white flour
& 1/2 cup and two Tablespoons Wheat gluten flour

Instead of all White Flour.

You will love it because this recipe is so easy! I used to be freaked out by yeast but it is easy to use with this recipe.
